CRYPTO‑BOX Protection Kit 8.17: AutoCrypt with .Net Core Support

The Professional Protection Kit (PPK) is the universal toolkit for your protection strategy with the CRYPTO-BOX.

A new PPK 8.17 release is available in our download section (MyMARX login and valid support contract are required for downloading).

PPK 8.17 contains the following updates (see changelog for more details):

• AutoCrypt - Automatic Software Protection (AutoCrypt Wizard, AutoCrypt SxAF and AC_Tool command line tool):
  • Compatibility with .Net Core applications (.NET 6.0 and higher), see the AutoCrypt Application Notes for further details.
• Updated Smarx OS libraries for Implementation with API:
  • Support for large crypted memory objects (objects of type TEOSDO_CDO_MEMORY) added
  • Update for Network License Management: If no LCS partition is present or a CRYPTO-BOX Versa model is connected, the number of network licenses is always zero (instead of unlimited for previous server version).
  • SmarxAPI: Added exception if CRYPTO-BOX is locked
